This year, though, there are plenty of new faces, too, including HBO’s Barry, BBC America’s Killing Eve, Netflix’s Mindhunter, and Starz’ Counterpart....

15 Sci Fi Futures You D Actually Want To Live In

1984 sucks. Not George Orwell’s classic 1948 book, of course, which Guardian readers voted the “definitive book of the 20th Century” and which recently returned to the best-seller list. We’re not referring to the highly influential film adaptation (not so coincidentally released in 1984) either, which returns in April to theaters across the U.S. for a special one-night screening. Rather, we’re referring to the reality of living in that totalitarian police-state dystopia, subjugated under Big Brother’s unblinking eye and forced to love it....

20 Crazy Photos Of The Cast Of Pawn Stars

As one of the most popular reality shows of the past ten years, the History Channel’s Pawn Stars is still chugging along after more than 500 episodes. The show’s basic formula– which combines the best of Antique Roadshow with slightly sleazy Vegas hucksterism– is a bit shopworn, but it’s still a winner with the fans. The good folks at the Gold and Silver Pawn Shop (which is the actual name of the Pawn Stars shop) always seem to be willing to do almost anything for attention....

15 Best Movie Posters Of The 1980S

There was a time when movie posters were considered true works of art that not only generated interest for the film but also crafted stunning imagery. As the film industry has shifted and evolved (or devolved), the importance of the film poster has fallen to the wayside, giving way to Photoshopped monstrosities. Instead of getting well thought-out, beautifully designed film posters, the industry norm is now heavily air-brushed headshots that are passed off as one-sheets....

Now that the Season 9 finale of Shameless has aired, it seems like as good a time as any to go back into the show’s history and dissect the strongest and weakest episodes. Movies like Wonder Woman and Aquaman have carried the DCEU, while old standbys like Brooding Bat and Overpoweredman have struck out. It’s been pivot after pivot for DC. 3 Slams Apple For Picking Wrong Uk Carrier For Iphone

Naturally there’s an element of sour grapes to these claims. Owned by Hutchison Telecom, 3 in the UK had complained that its efforts to carry the iPhone 3G on its network had been given short thrift by Apple management. In truth, the parent company has achieved iPhone 3G distribution deals in some territories, for example Macau. Speaking at a company event, 3’s indirect sales director Bernie O’Beirne said: “‘The iPhone is not on the right network, a handset is only as good as its operator,” saying Apple had picked the wrong partner....
